Sunday I made a simple table topper for my daughters new apartment. It should have taken me less than an hour since all I had to sew was two big squares of fabric together and miter the corners. After I sewed the first miter the wrong way and cut it off it ended up taking me 4 hours.
( I'm very thankful I only did one and not all four)
I used some lightweight fusible interfacing to put the corner back on that I cut off but I didn't have the right color red thread!!! A trip to Joann's and since I was out Starbucks. Four hours later...
I don't think it will be very noticeable.
This will look so cute on the small black dining table she has. The back side is solid red and its reversible. I used a tutorial for a baby blanket to make this. I'll post the link soon.
I think I'll make it the same way and use the miter as a flange around the pillow.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
